Lauderdale Propeller Service (LPS) has been serving the marine community in the Fort Lauderdale area for over 50 years. Begun in the 1940's, the knowledge that started LPS and the knowledge that has been gained through the years, has been passed directly from generation to generation. The present management and many of the skilled technicians have been in place for over 20 years. The supervisory team has an average of over 25 years of experience in the marine industry. The knowledge and experience is being meticulously passed on to our next generation of LPS technicians.

Lauderdale Propeller Service has one of the largest inventories of new propellers in the country and is a direct distibutor for virtually every major propeller manufacturer in the world. Michigan/Federal (the largest propeller producer in the US) has recognized LPS as one of their top distributors for the past 6 years in a row. LPS is also very proud to be the first, and to this date only, authorized Rolla repair facility in the United States. Many discriminating yacht owners send their propellers from all over the world to have them done by Lauderdale Propeller. These owners appreciate the fact that there is no doubt that their propellers are repaired correctly if they have been done by LPS.

Lauderdale Propeller also boasts a full service machine shop, with capabilities allowing for the production of new shafts up to 9" in diameter. Our straightening and overlaying/cladding capabilities are second to none. We are one of the few full service facilities in the world to offer shaft overlaying/cladding that may be approved on a case by case basis by ABS. Extensive testing and examination has proved that a Lauderdale Propeller overlay/cladding is "as good as new".
